Stay tuned for monthly themes! No matter the topic, STEM Connection is sure to spark curiosity, wonder, and excitement about the world around us. Helping kids to employ problem solving, creativity, and other STEM-related skills, all while presenting STEM topics in a fun and welcoming format.
STEM Connection is a partnership between MMPL and United Tribes Technical College: Intertribal Research and Resource Center.
This Spring, our STEM Connection series takes place once a month from 4 PM - 4:45 PM on 2nd Thursdays:
- March 12th
- April 9th
- May 14th
Each session of STEM Connection includes a story that helps introduce ideas related to the STEM lesson and a demonstration, lab experiment, or hands-on activity for children to gain a better understanding of engineering concepts. These sessions are FREE and all materials are provided. Audiences of grades K-5th will be most entertained and must be accompanied by an adult.
This programming will take place on the Children's Stage. In the event the attendance is greater than the space, we will move to the Community Room (when available).
Please consider registering for the event so staff are able to prepare supplies accordingly.
