Party Upon the Park: MMPL’s Room Rental Holiday Special

Are you in need of a unique space to host your holiday party? Make spirits EXTRA bright by renting MMPL’s LOFT and second-story balcony for your seasonal gathering.

The LOFT is located on the upper floor of the Morton Mandan Public Library. This room and attached balcony overlook Dykshoorn Park and Mandan’s Holiday Lights on Main display.

For $30, you can rent your own winter wonderland venue for an hour and a half. The room has a 25-person capacity and merry-makers are welcome to bring in their own food and non-alcoholic beverages.

The balcony also includes an outdoor snowglobe with its own lighting and seating area. This spot atop the library makes for an excellent photo opp!

The LOFT can be accessed by its own entrance and has stairway and elevator access. Restrooms are also available on the second floor. The room will be equipped with tables and chairs, and a television is available for HDMI connection for presentations/party games/music.

Reserve your Party Upon the Park time slot through our online Google form. Click here to register.. A nonrefundable fee of $30 will secure the space for an 1.5 time slot: 4:30 - 6 PM; 6:30 - 8 PM; or 8:30 - 10 PM. Specific dates are available for this special pricing. Reservations must be made at least 2 days prior to the event date. Pay online (click here), in-person, or over the phone. . Payment must be made 2 days prior to a reservation. Certain days and time slots occur beyond library hours and will require a card-access key in order to enter the LOFT’s door on the EAST end of the library building. You must pick up your card-access key 2 days prior to your event. Parties are responsible for leaving the LOFT in tidy condition and returning their key cards. 

The MMPL Main Hallway has door/ramp access to the West and East end open daily for the public to use as a passthru between the MMPL Parking Lots and Dykshoorn Park from 5 PM til the Holiday Lights display closes.

Interested groups will reserve time slot and day through the  and They can pick up their keycard up to two days in advance, must be picked up before we close.
