Make your move to MMPL to learn the basics of chess from our local "Chess Guy" Todd Wolf. Participants will learn basic moves, strategy and tacticts that improve their chances of a "checkmate" moment. No experience is needed to attend, just come ready to learn and engage in friendly competition. Apply what has been taught while making new friendships and a new hobby.
This is a 4-day camp (M-Th) for students who have completed 3rd grade through 6th grade during the 2024-25 school year.
Please arrive on time and commit to the four days of camp. A guardian is required to stay on MMPL premises while child is at camp as library policy states.
While all artists are not chess players, all chess players are artists.
