Summer is right around the corner here at the Morton Mandan Public Library! We need your help to add a bit of sunshine and summer joy to our outdoor planter boxes. In tandem with our Summer Reading theme "Color Our World," each registrant picks an available color from the link below and colors our planters!

Each planter will have a little sign showcasing the family, group of friends, club, or organization who has decorated the planter, so you can show off your skills!

Here are the Regulations:

  • Other than the initial cost of the decorations, this is completely Free! This isn't a monetary sponsorship, just one of time and love.
  • All decorations should be put up between May 2 and June 2 so that they have all summer long to shine and be enjoyed by the community.
  • The library reserves the right to remove any plants/decorations that violate the regulations without warning.
  • Additionally, the library cannot give any guarantees for protecting the plants from damage by vandalism, animals, or extreme weather.

Planter Specifics:

  • All planters are the same dimensions of 56 in x 12 in, with about 18 in of soil (the soil does not go all the way to the bottom of the planter).
