Kick off your summer in style with the Summer Reading Jamboree in Dykshoorn Park! We will have free lunch from 3&Me Cafe (while supplies last*), a free book for every child and youth who attends thanks to our partners at Prairie Public, and a TON of activities lead by local organizations including:
- Friends of the Library Booksale and Quilt Auction
- Science Projects with Gateway to Science
- Lawn Games with Western Plains Public Health
- DJ'd Music
- PBS Kids' "Nature Cat" meet and greet for kids
- And MORE!
Also, sign up for MMPL's Summer Reading Program for 2023 through our Beanstack website and start logging your reading to compete with your friends, earn prizes, and more! If this is your first year doing a Beanstack challenge with us, it's completely free, you just need your library card to sign up.
*registration is very helpful for giving us a heads up on numbers, but all food will be first come, first serve.
