Experience an evening where music and story come together to honor the traditions of the Northern Plains. Matt Schanandore will share the tradition of native flute music, inviting listeners to slow down, reflect, and listen deeply. Echoes of the Plains offers a welcoming space to experience the power of sound, story, and shared humanity—right here at the library. 

Pre-registration is required. Please register below!

Individuals aged 16 and up are welcome to attend. Doors open at 5:30pm and music begins at 6:00pm.

Matt Schanandore is an enrolled member of the Three Affiliated Tribes/MHA Nation. Knowledge about his native heritage and traditions was passed down to him by his grandmother, who was also a musician. Matt serves as the Executive Director of the Mandan Progress Organization.
