Holiday Create Kit: Movie Character Ornament

Create Kits are take-home projects that include special materials you'll need to complete a special project. Stop by the MMPL Circulation desk to get registered and pick up your Create Kit materials. Available while supplies last.

ACTION!

In coordination with MMPL's cinema-themed Christmas tree decorations this year, this create kit will challenge you to design a tree ornament featuring a favorite movie character. Pick any character from any movie you like (does not have to be a Christmas movie!) Put your sculpting skills to the test! Finished ornaments are to be displayed on a Christmas tree at MMPL. Please turn ornaments in to MMPL by December 13th so we can make our tree look spectacular in time for Christmas! Participants can pick up their ornaments to bring home January 6th-11th.

Available to youth ages 5-18.

Note: Markers, paints, and glue can be added to decorate your Model Magic creation after it has dried! You can also color the undried clay with marker and fold it in so that the color mixes into the clay. The creative possibilities are endless!
