Event Details

Deck the Planters this year with the Morton Mandan Public Library! We need your help to add a bit of flair and holiday cheer to our outdoor planter boxes.  

Each planter will have a little sign showcasing the family, group of friends, club, or organization who has decked out the planter, so you can show off your skills!

Here are the Regulations:

  • Other than the initial cost of the decorations, this is completely Free! This isn't a monetary sponsorship, just one of time and love.
  • All decorations should be put up between November 13 and November 29 so that they have all winter long to shine.
  • The library reserves the right to remove any plants/decorations that violate the regulations without warning.
  • Additionally, the library cannot give any guarantees for protecting the plants from damage by vandalism, animals, or extreme weather.

Planter Specifics:

  • All planters are the same dimensions of 56 in x 12 in, with about 18 in of soil (the soil does not go all the way to the bottom of the planter).
