DESCRIPTION:Looking for a creative and hands-on experience for your child?
  In this engaging after-school class, students will design and build their
  own musical instruments using every day and recycled materials, guided by
  visual artist Ali LaRock. Musician Kris Kitko will help students discove
 r the unique sounds, rhythms, and songs they can create with their handmad
 e instruments as well as learn the song writing process. Children will hav
 e opportunities to work both independently and as part of a group, encoura
 ging creativity, collaboration, and confidence. This class is a wonderful 
 way for your child to explore music, art, and teamwork in a fun and suppor
 tive environment. This event is  funded through the ND Afterschool Netwo
 rk and is a Vinterfest event.
