The North Dakota Asian-American Arts & Culture Initiative (NDAAACI) co-founder, Vice President, and communications coordinator Joan Klein will facilitate a book talk about the 1989 novel The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan. This discussion hour will explore topics and themes surrounding intergenerational relationships, immigrant perspectives, and the Chinese American experience in the U.S. If you want to read the book prior to the event, please see details and recommendations below for borrowing a copy.
