Summer is right around the corner here at the Morton Mandan Public Library! Once again, we are in need of your help to add a bit of red, white, and blue celebratory flair for America's 250th anniversary to our outdoor planter boxes.
Each planter can have an optional sign showcasing the family, group of friends, club, or organization who has decorated it upon request of the decorating crew.
Here are the Regulations:
- Other than the initial cost of the decorations, this is completely Free! This isn't a monetary sponsorship, just one of time and love.
- Red, white, and blue is the theme this season! America is turning 250! Hooray!
- All decorations should be put up by June 1, 2026 so that they have the rest of the season to be patriotic and colorful for America's 250th anniversary.
- The library reserves the right to remove any plants/decorations that violate the regulations without warning.
- Additionally, the library cannot give any guarantees for protecting the plants from damage by vandalism, animals, or extreme weather.
- Decor should remain up until the end of the summer festivities in late August 2026.
Planter Specifics:
- All planters are the same dimensions of 56 in x 12 in, with about 18 in of soil (the soil does not go all the way to the bottom of the planter).
